Started It... 60 Days...
Well, this is Day 1 of my 60 Day Juice Reboot. Feeling pretty good, (don't mean to sound gross but...) going to the bathroom a lot, and totally enjoyed my Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises this morning; thanks to YouTube's Dr. Lam's Beginners' video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIOHGrYCEJ4&t=1438s) and Marissa's, "QiGong for Beginners." After meditation, this was the next logical step and I felt these simple exercises all over my body.
Regular physical exercise is what I have missed these past years. My diet wasn't that bad, but without exercise you can expect to gain weight; especially if you're in your 40's. The key is balance. That may sound funny coming from someone who is not going to chew food for 60 days. But, eating right and exercise is definitely the balance every body needs.
For the record, I am not starving myself. I will get more nutrients, and in their simplest form by juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. My body will get a break because it doesn't have to break down large amounts of food like usual. In fact, after about 3-4 days I expect my energy levels to increase.
However you decide to improve your eating and exercise regimes, make sure they are fun; okay, enjoyable; well, at least bearable. And, be sure to get the micro-nutrients your body needs. What my body requires may not be the same as yours. So, test a few things out. Eat it, and pay attention to how you feel. That's a good place to start. It will help as you decide which foods to add or delete from your diet.
Well, that's all for now, heading to work. Have an awesome day and "see" you next time.
Peace & Blessings,
Fabraye
