Started It... 60 Days...     Well, this is Day 1 of my 60 Day Juice Reboot.  Feeling pretty good, (don't mean to sound gross but...) going to the bathroom a lot, and totally enjoyed my Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises this morning; thanks to YouTube's Dr. Lam's Beginners' video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIOHGrYCEJ4&t=1438s) and Marissa's, "QiGong for Beginners."  After meditation, this was the next logical step and I felt these simple exercises all over my body.       Regular physical exercise is what I have missed these past years.  My diet wasn't that bad, but without exercise you can expect to gain weight; especially if you're in your 40's.  The key is balance.  That may sound funny coming from someone who is not going to chew food for 60 days.  But, eating right and exercise is definitely the balance every body needs.     For the record, I am not starving myself.  I will get more nutrie...

I brushed my teeth daily, but clearly wasn't taking care of them properly.  I neglected a serious aspect of my health for too long!     Well fortunately, it turns out that I have really strong teeth.  The contrasting thing is that I had a cracking tooth  that was hitting a nerve. It hurt so badly that I wanted to pull it out with my bare hands.  My whole mouth ached...

Today I have the pleasure of sitting at one of my favorite Coffee Houses, The Chattahoochee Coffee Company in Marietta, GA.  Note: "It's the little things in life."  Watching the sun unveil itself from behind gray clouds, it is clear to me that paying attention to the "little" pleasures in life -- the beautiful changing colors of Georgia trees; the scent of hickory smoke from chimneys in the fall, or the quietly melodic tones of water rippling over rocks in the Chattahoochee -- is what adds true pleasure to life and momentum to rendezvous with even more. View from inside Chattahoochee Coffee Company     Here is where I opted to relax this morning and so became inspired to begin this new blog, Simply Fab Living Lifestyles.  As a single mom with two teenagers at home, who also works with teens for a living for over 20-something years, my time is often spoken for.  Meaning, I have to make conscious choices in order to spend time with and fo...
